About Rod
Rod Clemmons is a certified master clubmaker, club fitter, and golf coach, as well as a former high school teacher and school administrator. He noticed that students were having issues with their golf clubs when he first decided to get into fitting and building. Rod set up business crafting clubs as Clemmons Custom Clubs in 2002. Rod served on the USGA tournament committees for the United States Open and the U. S. Senior Open. Rod was a member of the Board of Directors for Hanover Country Club in Virginia and is currently a member at Five Oaks Golf and Country Club in Tennessee. As a member of the Lebanon/Wilson Chamber of Commerce, Rod volunteered his time as Chairman of the Chamber's 2010 Golf Tournament. He served on subsequent golf committees, as well.

Rod's wife, Joan, enjoys the fashion, travel, and fun that make golf the sport of a lifetime. She took up golf after a career as an elementary teacher and education consultant, and she now travels with Rod to enjoy the game at great vacation venues. Their motto is: "Go Custom - Golf Happy!"
